This palette closes and latches to keep out red dirt and pet fur, but also has enough room to let you mix and test pigments. A third mixing area pulls out of the inner lid, giving you two full swaths of palette area plus a divided area for watery washes. The palette comes with 8 paint colors but has 18 pockets in all for various color mixes you can create on your own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExact colors may vary depending on what's in stock in my studio, but may include brands from Daniel Smith, M.
