How to Book Your Private Art Lesson or Watercolor Paint Party:
My booking process ensures your lesson time is reserved just for you. Here’s how it works:

Review My Teaching Hours: First, take a look at my general availability below to see if my schedule aligns with yours.

Purchase Your Lesson: Head to the registration page to purchase your private lesson or lesson package. This payment officially reserves your spot in my teaching schedule.
- Schedule Your Time: Immediately after your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to my private scheduling calendar. You can then choose the exact date and time that works best for you from all available slots. (Of course you can call or email me too!)
Please check your spam/junk folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes. Searching for "Hawai'i Art Classes" or "Rebecca Block" usually does the trick!
General Teaching Availability
These are the typical hours I reserve for private instruction:

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Tuesdays, Thursdays: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM & 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
(Please note: I am generally unavailable for lessons on and around major holidays like Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.)

Q: How far in advance do I need to book a private lesson? A: Typically, lessons can be booked with a few days' notice. The first lesson must be booked within 60 days of your purchase, which typically gives us ample room to align our schedules. If you have a specific date in mind, I recommend booking your private lessons at least a week in advance to ensure you get your preferred time.
Q: How far in advance do I need to book a private Watercolor Paint Party? A: Private Watercolor Paint Parties need at least 2 weeks' notice if your guest list is ready to be contacted. If your guest list is not yet formed, I recommend at least 4 weeks in advance.
Q: Is your availability flexible? Do you have other times open? A: The times listed on this page represent my core teaching hours. I maintain a consistent schedule to provide the best experience for all my students as well as my own family. I also don't teach on Sundays. While I generally cannot alter the start and end times of the listed slots, I do have other options:
- Early Mornings: I offer a very limited number of 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM slots each month.
- Summer Months: My daytime availability expands significantly during the summer break.
Q: What if I have a specific time I need for my lesson? A: The best approach is to contact me before purchasing if you have specific dates or times that you need. I can then personally confirm my availability for you.
After purchasing, you will receive a private link to my scheduling calendar showing all current openings. Your first lesson must be scheduled within 60 days of purchase. If none of the available times on the calendar work for your schedule, I am happy to provide a full refund. To initiate this, you will need to request the refund via email. However, the easiest way to avoid any scheduling issues is to simply reach out to me first!
Q: What if I purchase a lesson and can't find a time that works? A: It is the student's responsibility to ensure their schedule aligns with the general availability posted on this page. If you have specific scheduling needs, you are strongly advised to contact me prior to purchasing to confirm a suitable time slot.
Should you choose to purchase before confirming availability and no mutual time can be found, a refund can be processed. To initiate this, you will need to request the refund via email.
