Build skills and confidence with a nature-inspired watercolor session.
Relax with friends and fellow creators in a no-judgment environment. This class is designed for all experience levels, from total beginners to those returning to art after a long break. We focus on nature-inspired subjects like botanicals and landscapes, using a logical approach to help you understand how the medium actually works.
What’s Included in Your Experience
- A Creative Studio Setting: Join Rebecca at her Waipahu studio garage. You will have access to high-quality supplies, including professional pigments, brushes, and palettes.
- Logical Coaching: We begin with a project demonstration and a discussion on the science of watercolor. You will practice with warm-up doodles before moving to your main project. Throughout the night, you receive one-on-one guidance tailored to your specific pace.
- High-Quality Materials: Each student receives a 5"x7" sheet of 140lb watercolor paper. Projects feature a pre-designed outline for a stress-free start. Extra paper is available if you need a fresh start. For more advanced students, Rebecca provides specific tips for increasing the challenge.
- Clear Guidance: Instruction is provided through live demos, clear verbal tips, and step-by-step written instructions. Some projects also include a timelapse video you can view on your phone to help you stay on track.
