Build skills and confidence with a nature-inspired watercolor experience.
Relax with friends and fellow creators in a no-judgment environment. This class is designed for all experience levels, and projects are pre-drawn for you with plenty of room for personal creativity. We focus on nature-inspired subjects like botanicals and landscapes, using a logical approach to help you understand how the medium actually works.
What’s Included in Your Experience
A pre-drawn design: Your paint night is ready to go! You'll get a light outline on watercolor paper. No drawing necessary, but you are welcome to add and change things, or totally paint over the lines to change/cover up elements. Each month features a different nature or Hawai‘i-inspired design. Everything is drawn by me, a human with a lifetime of drawing and painting experience. (No AI in Art!)
High-Quality Materials: Each student receives an outline of the project on 5"x7" sheet of 140lb watercolor paper. High-quality pigments, brushes, and everything else you need is all provided in class!
Clear Guidance: Instruction is provided through live demos, clear verbal tips, and step-by-step written instructions. Some projects also include a timelapse video you can view on your phone to help you stay on track. For more advanced students, I am happy to provide specific tips for increasing the challenge. Throughout the night, you receive one-on-one guidance tailored to your specific pace and questions.
Booking Details
Ages: This class is designed specifically for adults.
Timeframe: 2 hours of instruction and painting.
Location: My home studio in Waipahu (mauka from Lowe’s off H1/Exit 7). The exact address is emailed shortly after registration. (Please check your spam folder)
Class Size: Limited to 8 students to ensure personal space and individual attention.
Minimum Attendance: We require at least 4 registrations to hold a class. If the minimum is not met, the class may be postponed or cancelled and you will receive a full refund. (Word of mouth is the best advertising for small businesses - please invite your friends!)
Refreshments: You are welcome to bring a snack and a covered drink to enjoy while you paint. (I highly recommend a cup with a lid or a can you can't dip a brush into!)

How to Join a Class
Purchase Tickets: Select your date/project, add it to your cart, and complete the checkout process to reserve your seat.
Check Your Email: Look for a confirmation email from "Rebecca Block" or "Hawai‘i Art Classes" for studio directions and arrival details. Check your spam folder if you do not see it within one business day.
Arrive ready to paint! BYO (covered) drinks and snacks. Wear clothes that will be ok if you splash paint on it. (These definitely aren't the Crayolas you used as a kid - some of it washes out....some of it won't!)
