Build skills and confidence with a week of nature-inspired acrylic painting.
Relax with friends and fellow creative teens in a no-judgment environment. Every morning for one week, we'll create nature-inspired paintings like botanicals, animals, and landscapes. Using logical explanations to help you understand how the medium actually works, Aunty Rebecca will help you master color mixing with acrylic paints in a way you never knew before!
What’s Included in Your Experience
- All supplies included: Paints, palettes, brushes, paper - it's all included at the studio.
- Flexibility in your subject: Everyone loves to paint different things! Students will have plenty of flexibility for creating their own acrylic paintings. Photo references with nature themes are available if you aren't sure what to paint. For more advanced students, Rebecca is delighted to provide specific tips for increasing the challenge.
- A Creative Artist Studio Setting: Join Aunty Rebecca at her Waipahu studio garage, where you'll get to see all kinds of things behind the scenes of a working artist. Ask all the questions you want about the art and design field!
- Coaching from an Artist-Teacher: Rebecca's background includes an art education degree and many years of teaching in community settings. She loves helping her students understand how to make and improve their art no matter their past experience.
